Premier Diamond Cut IR Tint Intro
Introducing Premier's newest addition to the product line:
PREMIER DIAMOND CUT IR WINDOW FILM
Traditionally, window tint provides a difference in color and shade, which could affect the amount of heat that passes through the glass. The darker the tint, the more heat it would block. Our latest product now can generate substantial heat rejection without the need to going to a very dark shade.
Our window film can be as light as 73% VLT (visible light transmission), yet it would block 94% of infrared rays.
Below is a test to show how well our product performs:
Installed is our Diamond Cut IR Tint at 63% with exterior temperature at 100 degrees.
We cracked the window on the driver's side about 4 inches to allow direct sunlight hit the surface of the center console. This test is to show the surface temperature of the area where direct sunlight comes through and where the surface areas are protected by our Diamond Cut IR tint.
In 23 minutes and 13 seconds, the surface temperature rose to 160 degrees where the center console was exposed to direct sunlight.
In 23 minutes and 21 seconds, the surface temperature of the area where light was shining through our tinted glass recorded a very impressive 110 degrees.
A DIFFERENCE OF 50 DEGREES IN SURFACE TEMPERATURE IN JUST OVER 23 MINUTES.

Here is how it looks on a LP560-4. Window filmed all around at 63% and 73% on the windshield (for windshiedl application: off-road purposes only)
Benefits of our Diamond Cut IR Tint:
1. reduces infrared rays by 93% regardless of shade
2. shades available: 73%, 63%, 47%, 33%, and 20%
3. reduces uv by 99.7%
4. lifetime warranty from bubbling, fading, peeling, and purpling
5. reduce glare
The only downside to this product is that it is currently only available through Premier in Northern and Southern California facilities

Per one of the member's request, here is a picture of the rear glass showing how the dot matrix looks when we apply the tint

here is a GT3 that we just had our Diamond Cut IR 63% applied to all of the windows except windshield.
We took some measurements and the results:
Exterior Temperature 90 degrees with the angle of the vehicle the sun is angled directly at the rear glass.
Windshield Clear Glass - In 6 minutes 9 seconds, surface temperature of the front dash registered 130 degrees
Rear Glass with our Diamond Cut IR - In 6 minutes 29 seconds, surface temperature is at 113 degrees
17 Degree Difference in just a tick over 6 minutes

Looks like a nice product and quality installation. Sure would come in handy here in Hot-ston! One correction: that silver Porsche pictured is not a GT3; it's a C2S with GT3 front bumper and rear wing.

It will be minimal. Traditional titanium, hybrid, and dyed tints will provide 20%-30% of infrared blockage.
Here we have a '09 5 series that had a poor tint installation not done by us. Customer decided to have our team remove his tint and have our Diamond Cut IR63% applied to just the front windows.
We kept the 35% tint that we stripped off the front windows and made a quick BTU comparison to our 73% film
Results:
BTU measures the heatlamp without tint: 303
With the original 35% tint: 277
With our Diamond Cut IR 73% tint: 36

Great looking product. Too bad it isn't legal to do windshields, where most of the most bothersome heat comes from.
I'm surprised at how little heat I get through my Targa top. I understand it is specially treated to reject much of the IR (I think I read around 80% rejection). Do you have any comparison data for the factory glass top?
Does "diamond cut" mean pre-cut, or is it field cut like most tints?

Ours is a nano-technology film. All of the heat rejecting designs are built at the nano-level so that we can achieve 93%-94% of infrared blockage. Traditional dyed tints are designed more for looks than heat rejection. For any significant heat rejection, one would have to choose limo tint, and even at that level, the infrared rejection rate is at 60%-70%. By comparison our Diamond Cut product rejects 93%-94% of infrared regardless of shade.
