Tooki not working
My tooki bluetooth was working perfectly yesterday and today I'm getting error messages.
2006 997S with tooki and Dension from Bumperplugs. Dension is still working fine.
This is the error that pops up each time I start the car now. Any idea?:

Same thing happened with me with my BTA 1500 after Porsche software was installed.
Each time I started up I got the same message and I had to hit OK to get it to work.
I reset the pcm but nothing seemed to rectify the problem.
Hope yours is more easily resolved.

I would certainly get on the phone with them (in Florida) to figure out what is going on. Every once in awhile, mine gets a little brain-dead, and then everything clears up after a hard restart.

I have not had this problem, but I heard that Tooki (amongst other electronics in the car) will continue to drain battery even after ignition is off. It will try to search for bluetooth signal all day long. Only way to shut it off is to actually lock the door.

UPDATE:
I talked with support and they mentioned that sometimes glitches happen in modern electronics and that my MOST fiber optics were probably running all night long. I charged my battery up and now i can start my car.
The good news is that my phone seems to be working now. The bad news is that the power loss to the car is causing PSM and PASM failures. Now I need to visit Porsche and pay to have them reset the system. Will cost me about $70. Not really happy about that.
From doing some research on the NAV-TV forums, its seems that other have been having this exact problem. I'm thinking if this happens again, then bye bye Tooki. Not worth having it cause my battery to go dead.

Don't worry about the PSM and PASM warnings. Drive the car around and they will disappear. This is normal from a battery disconnect.
You do want to watchout for your battery though. Once they have been completely discharged, they're most likely "damaged" and will not hold charge like they use to. Best to keep a jumper cable in the car.

Started having pcm error messages after about 9-10 months -everytime i drove he car, pulled the tookie out about 3 months ago and the the pcm has been flawless. it was clearly the tookie. an expensive mod sits on a shelf gathering dust

Why dont you just use a ear piece? I hate bluetooth....it sounds like **** on the other end of a call. I rather wait to properly use a phone to my ear if I have to make a call otherwise turn up the rpm's and listen to the motor

I have to say that I like the interface so that I can use the PCM for scrolling through names and numbers.
Can't say much for the microphone, though.

the microphone that came with my Tooki is excellent. It looks a bit different than the older models, and people on the other end can't even tell I am on a bluetooth speakerphone driving in a noisy environment.
Bob if you want to sell that Tooki let me know. I want to experiment with it.
