Startup Button Settings
I recently had a PSE installed on my 997.2 C2S, which included another exhaust setup button. The problem is with all of these buttons - its becoming quite a pain in the (*&^*$% to set these up every time I start the car. For instance, I turn on Sport, turn off Shocks, and turn on Exhaust - that's the way I want to drive my car. Does anyone know of a way to get this to automatically setup a specific configuration? Can the DME be reprogrammed to do this? Are there any aftermarket products that, maybe using the CAN bus, provide a specific setup?

If you have the sport chrono plus option which sounds like you do, to activate a firm PASM setting, the PSE, and the re-mapped quicker throttle control all together requires pushing the "SPORT" button only. If you just want the firm PASM without the remapped quicker throttle control, push the "SHOCK" button, yet no PSE activation. If you just want the PSE on, then push the "PSE" button. All the buttons gives you a choice of any configuration, it's pretty easy, but it needs getting use to!

I don't think the OP is complaining about the range of options, but rather that it's annoying to have to push three buttons every time he starts the car (which is annoying). I'm not aware of a "fix" either, it's just something you have to live with.
I'm thankful that I prefer normal throttle, normal suspension, and I hacked my PSE to be always-on, so I'm saved from having to hit any buttons when I get in the car.
