Default PCCB replacement brake disc

I have 997 Carrera S, andI'm considering to change the PCCB dics for iron. What options are available with the PCCB calipers? Can I upgrade to 380mm without changing calipers?

Thanks

There are many many choices. Research it. Look at GMG racing.com and sharkwerks.com and stoptech.com and look at the back of excellence.
Unless you track 10 or more times a year there is no reason really to change unless you are seeing
cracks.

Replied to you on 6speed as well... brembo makes replacement rotors (iron) and Carnewal sells a complete conversion kit

What is the reason you want to go from PCCB to iron?

You can also use the iron rotors and lightweight hats from the 997.2 GT3 or the 997 Cup Car. Perfect fit with the PCCB calipers

Don't get the same feeling and confidence with PCCB. I really want to like the PCCB, but I must start brake earlier than I want with the PCCB.

Are you sure that the about 997 gen. 2? My car does have the 350mm PCCB front and rear, not 380mm in front.

I spoke with my dealer and he says the 997 GT3 gen. 1 disc should be bolt on. Other tuners I spoken with (RSS) says 996TT upgrade rotors (350mm front and rear) are bolt on.

There as so many opinons and so I get a bit confused.

Thanks but the set you refer to are with calipers. I want only the rotors, preferable floating.

I can't understand why you would want to add to your unsprung weight,--and go to iron. The PCCBs perform incredibly well, and will last a very long time if you know how to brake correctly with a 911. At my current pad wear rate, I expect easily 150,000 miles or more to a set of pads. (But then, I do momentum driving...)

Your other option is for $2400 or so for the entire car go with GiroDiscs.
