Gold Coast Bentley is a real piece of work. so are the salesmen, and the cars for that matter.

i wonder how long they'll stay in biz with this economy. they had so many cars bought with HELOC money. now that it has dried up...

I hummed and hawed for years, until my goldilocks car showed up online.

She just said, "go for it"

I was happy just getting a Camaro or the C7 Vette. My wife hated both of those and didn't want either near the house and she knew i'd be looking to upgrade to a 911 in the future so she said just go for it.

As to what she thinks about it, it's very 'pretty' but too low, loud, impractical and attracts too much attention. She does like the shifting experience in it (likes driving only manual cars) but scared to drive it because it's so low.

On a sidenote, our son who is 3 months old stares at it so i'm hoping he's into cars too.

Tolerant wives aside, I don't think women think much of ANYTHING about 911's.

My car seems to be largely invisible (even in Cobalt Blue) to the world, and that's just how I like it.

I bought it for me, not for them.

I had one date ask me when I started my midlife crisis. I said I guess it was when I was 16 because that’s when I bought my first Pcar (914 - that was a fun car!). It’s been all downhill from there (but it’s been a fun ride).

If you want to impress/meet ladies, get a puppy, not a Porsche. Different Ps.

Well when my wife gave me the green light to get one it was a long time waiting. She really was happy for me but cared less about the car.......until she drove it. I was not home when it got delivered and she had to meet the truck about 3 miles down the street. All I heard afterwards was how awesome this car is to drive. She liked everything about it including the sport seats. Also she used to have a manual transmission so enjoyed that part as well. Great wife.

I told mine I was buying one and she didn't say no. I already knew what I wanted (GT4) but just not in which color. We hit a delaership to look at colors and while looking she points at a GT2RS and goes that ones the right color why not just get that one? I had to show her the window sticker as to why it wouldn't be that one. She likes it but won't drive it. She prefers to be a passenger which is diametricly opposed to her position in anything else we own.

I think this thread is funny. My experience has been that no woman has even cared about the car I was driving, as long as it wasn't a POS....
although my wife says she feels special when she rides in the 911. I think she knows/understands what it means to me and is proud of the work and effort I put out in order to achieve the ability to purchase it....

911 a waste of $$ if you're trying to impress the ladies. They really dig Boxsters......and puppies like poster reported earlier. Just drive top down in Boxster with pup in passenger seat and you're golden.

I've had a number of attractive women in their mid to late 30s come and say "wow, that's a nice car" or "beautiful car" in parking lots...

... about my 2016 dark grey Cadillac CTS. My 911 seems to invite more comments from guys.

My wife likes the 911 (she really enjoyed the 986 we had), but I'd say she prefers riding in the Caddy...
