I don't really care what women think about my cars, from my beat up BMW station wagon to my Ferrari Challenge car. As for my wife, she drives her 997 and likes it. Done.

First question I'm always getting from them -

"You have any problems with bore scoring with that one??"

I've found smiles work better than Porsches! I have gotten many compliments on the color from the ladies.......and of course on the driver as well LOL!

I don't think I've ever had a positive or negative comment about the 911 from a lady but I've had several guys talk to me about it.

My dog on the other hand, every lady loves him and many have gone out of the way to tell me he is cute or to ask what kind he is and his age. Moral of the story, if you want attention from women, get a dog and go for a stroll through the park

Reminds me of this!
What we see and what others see it!

What men see (top) what women see (bottom)... Sweet beetle indeed!

When they find out I have a Porsche, they absolutely make me promise to give them a ride when possible.... When I do give them a ride, the very first comment is always about how rough it rides🙄

Interesting...I see a lot of posts about how people find that women don’t pay any attention to their Pcars, but for me, I’ve seen several instances where that’s not the case. When I had my 944 way back (bought one new at the time), I would get attention from girls (some even following me where I was going)...a little scary...or waving at me as I drove past them when they were walking. I had a BMW 325 coupe at the time too, and my friends who were girls all said they liked riding in the 944 more than the 325, even though the 325 was more comfy.

When I had a Boxster, I parked once and a young blonde walked by and said, “hi handsome!”, and this was when my wife (then girlfriend) was sitting right next to me in the car. A woman also walked by me after I had just parked in a lot and said, “beautiful car”. With my 997, I’ve had a couple girls look back at me pretty obviously when was filling up at a gas station or when just driving down the street and driving by. Guys also have complimented me on the car, some thinking the Boxster was a $100k plus car. LOL.

That being said, I’ve also had a lot of people in other cars around me act very aggressively and drive up on my rear real close or try to race me. I take the good with the bad and just enjoy the car.

My wife likes our 997 cab because she thinks it’s fun during the summer months (to put the top down), and that it has a backseat to bring our kid along...kid puts hands in the air as if he’s in a roller coaster when I go a little fast.

i used to have an e90 m3, compared to the bmw, i'd say the compliments and interests shown to the p-car is way more gender-balanced compared to the m3.
