Its a 1 day job for me and maybe 4 hours if there's two of you. Its way easier having a second person lining up the 3 shock tower bolts through the frame during install.

Mikey-
I lowered my rig a month or so ago with H & R's. I am considering an OEM aerokit front bumper and was wondering how often do you scrape the lower lip on yours now (off track -street driving)? I know we get the occasional rubber scrapping under the bumper. I measured mine last night and I have just under 26" on the front.
I too will prolly keep my lower lip black for this reason - I am Artic Silver.

It does scrape if you're not carefull, but like I said in post 44, its not any worse than before, as long as Im very carefull in approach and exit of ramps. This lowered springs, because they're stiffer, I think is preventing the car from dipping its nose if your approach/exit is too fast thats why its NOT scrapping as I thought it would have.

I have to be careful with high/steep entrances to parkings, etc. I just take them sideways, no problem doing it that way, unless theyre super steep then I dont even attemp and look for another enytrance or not go at all.

Since I have a coiple of PMs for updates, here you go:
Now17July2013: Car has 34000 miles.
-34000 mi on original PASM Struts
-24000 mi on H&R springs
Im very happy with these H&R springs. My struts are still the stock PASM units. so far I now have 24000 miles on the springs (total of 34000 on the struts)and they are still tight. No clunking or jarring response from them. My 911 is actually smoother than my Inifiniti FX35 (which has factory suspension and tires)on road close bumps. What I mean is the 911s has tighter feel on bumps and no loose feel on the suspension. and ride height is just right. Gives the car the European lower ride height. not the U.S. 4WD look![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
**Ive learned that every driver has their own definition of "ride feel"**
Here are a couple of recent pix

I removed the H&R springs from my 2008 997.1S and replaced the OEM springs because I preferred the factory setup. The local P dealer installed and removed the springs I would like to sell the H&R springs which are in excellent shape. Make me an offer.

Ever considered spacers, Mike? I just sold mine to a member here on the board since my new wheels have much more aggressive offsets (see avatar pic), but I think they would do wonders for your car!

Im just updating the forum since several have asked if theres settling on the H&R springs. I myself like the further settling.
