Cool LOWERED the Car with H&R Springs

This is for those who are wondering how much H&R springs will lower their cars.
Hope these helps in making your decisions. H&R website claims 1.2" drop. I think that 1.2 is for the basic Carrera since the S is lower by 10mm.

Really happy with the firmness of these springs. Not rough at all(to my taste/ I know this is subjective) as I thought they would be. I was afraid it was going to be lower... but really happy with the results of this moderate drop.

I installed them over the weekend and here are some Before & After pictures with measurements.
1 Note though, with the first 4 pictures the car has 1/2 tank of fuel, and the last 4(after shake down) car with full tank of fuel. Im guessing that with the firmness of the springs, the extra .5 tank of fuel only lowered the front by 1/8"max.

Wheels are 19"s

These first two are before the drop with stock springs. 06 S/PASM

FRONT

These next two are right after the spring installation. Just rolled the car back and forth in the garage 4 times.

FRONT

These next two are after a good shake down/driving it for a day (approx 60 miles of VA freeway, bad expansion slats)

FRONT

With no flash/hides the inside of fenders:

I'll post more pictures maybe few weeks of driving.

Good info (as always) Mike and pics to match.
I'm curious to see what your track impressions are with the change.

Thanks, Awesome pics! I'm considering doing the same to mine. Do you have any before and after shots of the whole car, just to see the overall stance. I'm not sure which springs to go with, but your pics are pushing me towards the H&R.

Great job giving the before and after measurements including after "settling". Very helpful for those to follow. I was always concerned about the amount of drop when you read the specifications, but that looks "just right" and you should still be able to handle driveway aprons, etc.
