Thanks everyone. I live in Honolulu not far from Punchbowl Cemetery for those of you who have been. We are on a ridge line so many of the houses have steep driveways.

P.S. The car came with the Bridgestone RE 050s

I wish I was driving it and not working to pay for it. Yesterday I just washed it and put on a coat of Klasse AIO.

Compared to an M:
Much lighter on its feet
More of a "slot car" feel
Engine pulls better down low
Not as many gadgets although the bluetooth works well, pairing my Storm was simple and I think the contacts loaded better
I miss the fat M steering wheel
Don't miss I drive although I have not RTFM regarding PCM
An M with EDC on comfort is a plusher ride
Ergonomics are better IMO
Seeing a range of over 200 miles with 3/4 tank

I enjoyed my M but this is more connected and more immediate.

Please share your impressions once you get yours, great color.

I know, I know. It's being 'prepared' for it's debut!

I know I won't miss the i drive or the HUD or the range in the gas tank for sure. It does have a plush ride, but boring road feel to me. I am going to drive it one last time to the grocery store(of all places) and then I am going to await my new baby's arrival thanks to Stoppie!

Congratulations.
Good that you don't have to battle with snow. Assuming you live in Ca. Looks like it.
Anyway enjoy your new machine. It's a great feeling.

Sorry I just read you live in Honolulu. All I can say is wow. No snow to worry at all.

Thanks everyone.
No snow here, although Mauna Kea on the Big Island does get snow in the "winter."

Right now it's hot and dry so keeping it clear is not as much of a challenge as it will be when we get more rain.

I received my 1st call in the car today, I heard something ringing and thought WTF and then I realized it was the phone through Bluetooth.

Very nice! Please read the manual for me and summarize pertinent points. Oh, and could you come over and take some photos for me? Yours got lots better response than mine!

Could be that I've been soooooo snarky on the forums while waiting for my car to come in! Now I'm happy fellow.
