What would be a good starting point and what would be a good purchase point? Also, anyone know this car?

I don't think anyone should offer anything for this. It's another boring car! Black with black? And with few options? It would put me to sleep!

Yeah I know. I'm just over getting too much attention with my cars (I don't like it anymore). Porsche is a pretty "low key" sports car and I want a "low key" color to match. It seems like everyone has a Porsche in LA. What can I say, I'm getting boring.

Thanks! I actually remember seeing that car for sale. Congrats on your new ride!

I am very close to that dealership at all levels of management and sales. If you are serious, PM me your contact info and I'll call my buddies there and will call you with some info. The price is obviously way too high. I am guessing high 50's or at most very low 60's ought to buy that car.

No affiliation with them, just a long time customer (all p-cars in my signature, except 356, purchased there new).

Thanks. Yup, probably same car. It was in NoCal. Bought it last week and drove it home to Oregon. Great drive up and over the mountains.

There's another one that's 08 for only $4K more...why is this 06 priced so high?

EDIT: nevermind...it's a 2S not 4S.

Not going to steal this deal from OP, but is $60K really the going price for car like this?

It's also a TIPTRONIC. Many are not keen on that.

Agree that many aren't, but used tips consistently run $ 1500-1800 higher on every dealer lot I'm familiar with (and of course KBB also).

+1 Agree with that. I found the same when looking at used cars, I think there's less demand for Tips so prices are lower.

I actually prefer a manual trans but I want to buy a car my wife can drive if needed. I'm still a little up on the air regarding trans but I'm leaning towards a auto vs manual for this reason.
