Default Did The Deed 997.2 C2S Basalt Black

First, thanks to all here for being kind to a noob with too many questions. I decided that although the incentives may carry over to June or perhaps get better to just do it.
Although I posted the details in another thread:
C2S 6 speed Basalt Black/Black
810 - Floor Mats in Interior Color
P77 - Leather Sport Seats
P17 - PASM Sports Suspension Package
870 - Universal Audio Interface
446 - Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
640 - Sport Chrono Package Plus
619 - Bluetooth Phone Interface
680 - Bose High End Sound Package

Coming from a 2006 M5 I am still adjusting (and relishing the fact that I can get more than 10 mpg) but so far wow. I have read every break in thread and will keep it below 4200 rpms for at least 500 miles.

I know pics are mandatory and here you go. I am still fighting the drive off assistant when backing down into my driveway, it will be trial and error.

Wow, cool!!!! Love the Basalt black! Congrats! I'll be posting pictures when my cab arrives on Saturday (I hope). I, too, came from an M car, but the M6 cab with SMG. I grew tired of the heavy car with the quirky transmission and filling up every 200 miles!!!

Why not back into your driveway? Hey, it's either drive-in and back-out or back-in and drive-out. It might as well be the latter. Beautiful car. dave

I do back down because if you try and back out you can't see, this is the driveway looking up from the garage, and down from the street. Sorry I tried to photoshop myself out.

Are you in the Bay Area? Looks like the Peninsula. Or Orinda...

That is a steep drive way. I understand your first statement that you are fighting the drive off assistant.

How do you like the C2S compared to the M6? I love the ///M cars and debated for very long time between the ///M5 and the CS2. In the past few months I have test driven M3 (DSG),M5, M6, E63, CLS63, Modena, Ferrari 430, Gallardo and even the BMW 750I. Ultimately came down to C2S vs the M5. I couldn't justify the depreciation of the 430 and the Gallardo for the small amount of miles that I would put on them. I liked the M5 but it was the C2S manual 6 speed that left me sleepless after the test drive. Now I am back to having a P-car. Should have done it long ago.
