jfr,
I'm not talking about using a laser tester but actual real world testing with actual police laser guns. I know a guy that does this type of testing and he will be in Houston this weekend testing other cars. If you are interested, and as I said I would highly recommend it, I can have him contact you and maybe allow you to join the crowd and get some free real world testing on your car done. Until you had done that you really do not know the actual performance and as I also mentioned before there are some that found using two different jammers at the same time was actually worse that having only one.
PM me if you want more information or want to give me your phone number.

I am a fairly regular reader of a radar detector/laser jammer forum, and my set-up is pretty close to that of a guy from LA with a Mustang who has had his tested extensively without any apparent "cross-talk" problems.
PM sent, also. Thanks.

This thread seems a little too similar to some threads from a couple years ago. It appeared that some people were promoting a brand of detectors without identifying their affiliation.

Lets not even go down that road. On some other forums that turns into a an ugly thread and one where many fingers are pointed.
There are a few reported unbiased groups that do their own testing and report their results. The general consensus of all I have seen and read is that the Laser Interceptor performs better than the other jammers out there. (I don't know, I just want it to work for me.) I have had Blinder uniits as well as a Passport SRX with ZR-3 heads. Both worked fairly well.
I am going to test my LI tomorrow with multiple police laser guns to get a feel for how well my setup works for me. Much is dependent on vehicle size, shape, color as well as head location and position.
My thread was started to show my install and not to "sell" LI over any other brand. However there is a lot of evidence that some units perform much better than others. Lets just leave it at that. I have no affiliation with any jammer company I just want documented evidence that my setup actually protects me.

I have no affiliation with any manufacturer, distributor, or any other party associated in any way with anything I mentioned. I bought the products I did after doing my own research. Please feel free to do a search of my posts to confirm for yourself.

The testing results are in:
Stealth Stalker did the testing earlier today and below is what he said on another board. (Since we are talking about my car I'm sure he will not mind me repeating it here.) Seems I have excellent coverage front and rear so I am happy with the install and product.
JTG- Jam to Gum
JFG- Jam from Gun
Walt
From Stealth Stalker:
"Porsche + LI = total pwn4g3
Ultralyte, Marksman, Stalker, Laser Atlanta R, all JTG with 3 heads to the front, and JFG with one head to the rear. No punchthroughs anywhere.
It don't get no better than this!"

Sorry I'm cross posting from the 993 board.
I've doing some research and trying to decide on which jammer to get between the Blinder m27/47,
Laser Interceptor or Laser Star .......
www.guysoflidar.com puts the Laser Interceptor on the top
www.laserjammertests.com puts the Laser Star on the top
www.radarbusters.com puts the Blinder on top
Leaning towards the Blinder M27 or the M47 due to the Company's long history with many new models during the years, and the M27/47 model can also switch the sensor to parking assistance and also use as garage door opener ( as it claims )and download updates.
Sure like to hear any comments or life experience with any of these units......TIA

Great job and thanks for the pics.
Also great looking garage you have there. Not to change the subject but who did your floors? I'm planning on having mine done this spring and currently researching my options.
