I was thinking PS2's.

I think the GT2 & GT3 run 315's

I'd check with Tire Rack or Wheel Enhancement. The GT3 wheels are 12" vs 11" on the lobsters. So I believe 315 tires are too wide for the 11" rims.

I'd make sure the overall diameter is the same otherwise you could have issues with ABS.

Both the 7GT2 and the 7GT3 run 12 inch rims in the rear and utilize 325/30/ and 305/30/ rubber respectively.

The lobsters are 11 inch rears. The 315/25 would work, however, imo the 305/30 would be a better combination.

The 315s may "look" awkward and bulge off the rim.

I see you posted about spacers as well--- a 315 tire with spacers on an 11inch rim on a narrow body may press the sidewall beyond fender line.

I'm running 11.5 rear Carrera Sports with 305s and OEM 5mm spacers. They are tucked perfectly linear to the fender lip. Will post pics in the am.

305/30 is proper OD 315 seems in limbo... 325 would lend itself more ideal to a 25 series... or 335...

all brands run diff... ps2's in 295 will look like nitto 315's... pirelli pzero also run wide.. id say go with 305/30 ps2 if they make it and your OD wont be far off...

A 315/25/19 tire is 2.96% smaller in circumference than a 295/30/19. The following site lets you compare tire sizes. In your case, I think you need to ensure the rims you use are the correct width for a 315mm tire.

Trust me a 305-30-19 is PLENTY wide enough for the rear especially with only 235's up front.

For the track I use either 255-35-18 front and 315-30-18 but I am back to useing 245-40-18 and 305-35-18.

On the street the stock 305-30-19 is PLENTY of tire. Grip and size of tire is not an issue for a 997S.

Quick Reply: 315/25/19 on a 997 s ?
