Default Here is my 3 weeks old 997.2

I pick my car up on April 15, after I mail my tax payment, and so far with 700 miles on the clock I just love this car. I had the initial hiccup of "CEL" with bad fuel and now the car is doing good with Mobil so far. I have own Mercedes AMGs since 2001 and the Porsche is whole different animal. Now I am beginning to understand why Porsche is a driver's car. I am looking forward to explore this car to its full potential.

Very nice. I'm loving the old school E55 in the background too.

John,

Awesome car! I love the red touches on the interior. I am assuming the interior is black and is cool! Congrats on an awessome car! Enjoy and drive 'her' in good health!

That 2002 E55 is the family work horse. My wife preferred that E55 over my 2006 E55. The 2006 E55 has 469 HP but it is one heavy car!!!

The interior is black and the red stitching stands out nicely.

That looks like the Porsche car seat that my son sits in. You can get it at the dealer. It's a huge ripoff, but it fits perfectly. I think there may be an equivalent seat without the Porsche logo for 1/5 the price. Someone here will know.

That is the Porsche booster seat. It is expensive but still cheaper than Britax's booster seat and I believed it is made by Britax. I am a fan of Britax child seat; I have 4 Britax Roundabouts and 2 Britax Parkway booster seats in all my other cars. Of course 2 Porsche booster seats in the 997.

That stitching is fantastic, sets off the whole interior along with the painted trim. Years from now it'll stand out even more among 997s.

Enjoy it!

I have been told the booster is by Recaro and I believe it is because it is similar to the Recaros that I bought (and they wer no bargain either). The Britax seats are great, and I have them for the smaller children but the Recaros are quite different in design and much like the Porsche seats.
