Default Unmounted tire in front runk

will a single 295/30/19 fit in the front trunk of a 997 S ?

I realize that a mounted one won't -- but would one fit that wasn't.

I need to transport it about 10-20 miles, and don't want to bend my front trunk lid -- Wondering if the tire if not mounted on a rim has enough flex to fit in there

I doubt it fits. Put it inside the cabin.

A tire itself might.

Here's a wheel for size comparison.

Doubt the 19" tire unmounted will fit.

Take a tape measure and if you have 26 inches of width and 26 inches of depth with the hood closed - maybe it will fit.

Remember, the aluminum hood is soft and will bend easily and get permanently deformed more easily than steel.

There's no way a tire will fit in the boot without compressing it down so far that you would destroy your hood.
It will fit in the back seat (I have put a mounted 305/19 in back).
