changing views on 997.2 Nav?
I know this is a odd question, but I looked in the manual and did not see how to do it. According to the brochure, the 2009 Navigation can have a birds-eye view (almost a 3-D perspective), or a flat view when looking at the NAVI maps. I can't figure out how to switch them. Thanks for the help!!
No need to. This site is no longer privately owned like it used to be at the beginning, but is now owned by a mega-corporation with deep pockets, whose pockets get deeper each time posters like him post or just visit this forum. Ad revenue is driven by eyeballs. The more eyeballs the more revenue.
So in a real sense he's doing his part in helping the corporation make more money by posting his posts that viewers view.
Come to think of it, maybe I should be getting a cut of the action if I'm helping bring in eyeballs.

Speaking of Daniel Eastman: I did 4 days of PSDS two weeks ago, Performance and Masters back-to-back. As luck would have it, at the end of each class when we did "instructor hot laps" in a new Turbo I had Daniel both times.
The second time out, when I got in the car I told Daniel "I was with you two days ago. Let's see if you've gotten any better." He laughed and said "watch."
I only thought we were going fast the first time!
PSDS was the most fun I've ever had in my life. I don't think I'm quite ready for Masters +, so I may have to go back and do the Masters again. What a blast!

Daniel is a great instructor. I told him he should be a race commentator with his love for talking and his voice. Nice nice guy too.
