Edgy, it's not a volume thing, it's just that there's no real way to "turn off" audio functions without turning off navigation, information, etc. In the 997.1 I can remember wanting to have information up and having to turn the volume all the way down on audio because you always had to have some source "on" when PCM was turned on. On the 997.2, it's pretty much the same. Turn on PCM to use Nav or other functions, and an audio source comes on with no way to defeat it other than putting it on "mute", in which case the audio "information" is still displayed with the mute symbol.
As to ground clearance, the 997.2 is "better" than the GT3. Can't speak to the LSD yet, only been on the street, no track yet (only 200 miles).
I always delete the badge on my cars. No reason for having one. It traps wax, leaves, bugs, etc. I don't care that the guy behind me can see what model I'm driving. Plus there's a big weight savings at the rear end, I'd say at least 3 ounces!

Thanks all for the kudos. Yes DJ, that's a CT 100 club badge. Been a supporter for a very long time. It's a support group for not only police but fire fighters.

Ron, hve you checked the alignment yet?
If not you will be able to get -1.4 camber in front.

New process with alignment. Dealer was prepared to do it at delivery, but Porsche suggested we wait until 1500 miles to 2000 miles. Let the car settle in through the break-in period. So, in a couple of weeks I'll have the car back and they'll be maxing front camber and making the rest work to that. P.S. Thanks for the settings report on your car before and after. I used that example to show my dealer the issue and wrote it right into the contract as an exhibit.

Hey Mike,
While the GT3 was a blast on the track, it wasn't much fun on the street. And I have been searching for that one "arrive and drive" Porsche that does everything well. My 07 Cobalt was a fantastic car, just lacking a little in the way of suspension and power / brakes. The GT3 was great, but I found myself never driving it on the road due to the suspension, ride height, and brakes (not so easy to change pads on a closed-top caliper). Then along comes the 09 with DFI and 30 more horses, Gen 2 "magic" lowered Sport PASM with Limited Slip - I was hooked after driving a demo at my dealer. So, sold the GT3 to a celebrity in Hollywood, ran it through the dealer for trade-in treatment, ordered the 09, and many months later, here she is
