Yup, it's pretty damn cool. I think I've damn near drained the battery just playing with the thing.
I further secured a zip tie around the OEM harness & smartTOP module female connector as I can see that working itself loose. Of course I use the supplied velcro strap to secure the smartTOP module to the OEM module.

Hmmm.... I don't drive a convertible, but what is the hard part about simply putting the top down once you are inside and you start the car? If it only takes 15 seconds, that's perfect engine warm up time.

One of the best functions is that it opens the top with one touch.
I have a stick. Now, I don't have to hold on to the button and try to shift when I lower or close the top while pulling away from a traffic stop.
It also lower the window after the top is lowered. A logical step that was missed by the factory.

-Open/closes top with one touch
-Opens rear window without using toggle switch
-delays trunk release & adds headlight on for 30 seconds
-Horn chirp lock/unlock, I personally find this annoying
-All functions customizable

Edgy you crack me up. You're usually the most rational guy on here, but this comment takes the cake! Opening the top from afar such that other people can tease me for being obnoxious() after I drive away would do nothing for me...make sure you don't write the next brochure for Soft Top!!
Luckily, Todd's response made perfect sense.

Cole, if you get the RemoteKey, for the coupe, you can open the windows and or trunk, from a distance while people are near the car, and then get in the car and drive away. :>)

Actually, it's quite practical when you have your hands full and want to dump a bunch of stuff in the rear seat area, as well as to load a bunch of people in the car. You don't have to get in, lower the top, get out, and then load them up.

I almost never have the patience to hold my finger on the key for the entire cycle-period of putting the top down. I don't recall there being a one-touch function from the key.
But the one-touch top up and down thing from inside the car is da bomb. I really disliked fumbling with the stick and the switch while heading out, or dropping the top while pulling in to park the car.
The thing is priceless.

It is not really a one touch function, you need to press and hold for about 4 seconds then the top will go all the way up or down on its own, if you hold for too long it will not automatically cycle open/closed. Give it a try.
