Not sure what this is - "TTP 'Step II' Twinturbo Waterintercooler conversion kit" - looks like a S/C kit.

Would you drop $60k on this when you can pick up a '02 Turbo any day of the week for $50ish?

Yes, but it only has some minor curb rash on all the wheels and
a number of paint imperfections.

I guarantee if you call him, he would not consider any lower
offers since it is a hard to find silver/black color combination.

a) since when were '99 p-cars considered vintage, and b) he forget to mention that the car also likely has the "fetzer valve" option

I thought 996's were well into 50's and even 40's.

He might have been engaged in some interplanetary travel and thus not too aware of the economic turmoil or resale car values. Best of luck.
