Awesome car!!! Congrats...

This whole "Buy a 911" thing is addictive. LOL At least we're doing our part to help the stimulus (that's my rationalization).

Enjoy the hell out of it!

Looks great!! I always tell myself, no more black cars until I see a beauty like yours. If you ever want to switch to multifunction, I have a black leather wheel off my 997TT - here's how it was listed on my option list:

431 3-Spoke Str Whl Multifctn lthr
CPA Thicker 3-Spoke/Multi Fctn Whl

I'm looking to get it out of my garage so any reasonable offer will do.

Since I was a child, I always had a thing for 911 Turbo's in black....

p.s. the red tail lamps are the kicker. Quite the looker!

Very, very nice....The Turbos look best in black (IMHO) as it tends to tone down the extra black plastic vents, scoops, air dams etc. By the way, my insurance on a 2007 C2S is surprisingly reasonable with USAA--does anybody have any idea how much of a premium increase a Turbo usually entails?

Nice upgrade on the TT! The PCCBs provide a great contrast against the black, and so do the all-red taillights.

The insurance on my '09 Turbo was not much more than on the '08 C2s but it does have a higher deductable.

Thanks hidalgo,
Your TT looks great in Atlas Grey (my color as well). Also prefer your wheels over the stock Turbos. It seems (amazingly enough) that the insurance rates reflect the mostly mature/responsible owners who buy these cars.

Jim: Any options you wished you had? what options are you pleased it doesn't have? I assume you bought it off the floor rather than ordering it. The option list is so long and inviting!

I was also looking at a Black one but it did not have Adaptive Sport Seats or short shifter, which swayed me to the Basalt one. Had I ordered, I would not have ordered the CD Changer, but I think I would have ordered everything else on my car. The Black one had a leather rear center console, carbon fiber lighted door sills, and XM radio. XM I can live without; the other items were nice bits that would be nice to have, but not essential and anyway easily added later if I really wanted them. Nothing else I would order that was in any way "essential" to me.
