I am looking to purchase my first 911....and I went to the local dealer....very nice guy....but I was very very turned off by his multiple price strategy...one posted on the car....another provided by the sales guy (who said his manager just gave me a lower number)....and a third and even lower number when I when on the internet....not their Porsche web listing but their local Yahoo listing....made me very leary about what the real price should be....

Which dealer did you visit, you can pm me if you don't want to post it here. I had 2 different deals going with a dealer in NC and he pulled out of both with no notice and wouldn't return my phone calls.

I have been checking out 911 prices for just about 10 days....I am amazed at the price drops in that time....this has been looking at ebay and talking to a few dealers....ebay has several 2007 911s under 50K now...and the dealers I have talked to seem much more interested in selling 2006 for closer to 40K...guess alot of folks are unloading their 911s due to the economy....just a guess
