Default Porsche wins Daytona Rolex 24!

Finally. Porsche and Brumos Racing are back on top at the Rolex 24. 1st place in GT as well. A good weekend for Porsche!

What an exciting race ending. Went to the track yesterday but watched the finish on TV this afternoon. Nice drive by Mark Donahue to hold of Juan Montoya.

Heard rumors in the Porsche Corral that the new GT-3 will be mid engined. Does that mean the new 911/991 will follow suit? Maybe that explains the turbo like intakes on the mule pictures we've seen.

Yes; Great race and fantastic final 30 minutes! Wild to see the bigger displacement have the advantage in the technical areas and the smaller displacement pull on the straights. Porsche did very well by its teams!

Do not like the looks of the Daytona prototypes but that was a fantastic last hour no matter how ugly the cars looked. David has grown up and drove that last stint exceptionally well. Overall and GT2 for Porsche, not a bad day.
