Default Red Taillight Option

With the red taillight option are the turn signals in amber or red.

Thanks

re: 09's right Bob?

Assuming that because the actual LED's in the turn signals are RED, they'll be RED as well.

Yellow. The LEDs are yellow. For pre-09, still yellow.

Incorrect. Minus the Turbo, all 09 REAR LED'S ARE BLINKING RED. The only different color of light showing when on, are the clear back up lenses/ lights.

NP Bob. Lenses are red; blinker (light is clear) is red. Looks good.

Just went to the garage and checked my 05 C2 with Red Taillights, and during the day, the flashing light is Red (with a slight yellow look), however at night, it seems more yellow (still reddish/yellow). I believe mine have a yellow bulb in them.

I purchased my from Suncoast last year, so they were not original with the car, but the replacement models.

Hmmm. Interesting. Dan I stand corrected, they must be yellow/amber bulbs, even in the Red Lenses. Odd.

I just put the red taillights on my cayman (from Tischer). They look hot on both 987 and 997!

No problem - glad to help. I really like them on my car - I debated whether they were worth the coin or not, but I got a deal on them from my local stealer.

In the USA - isn't it the law that turn signals have to illuminate "amber?"

No, in fact many of the European cars are going with red such as Audi and BMW. I prefer amber so the car behind you can see the signal.
