Be Honest...how many of you will give the wave to Panamera owners?

Any takers on what it is? (One hint,--it's British).

Most 997 do not return my wave.
In an attempt to make an excuse for them, I think they are just folks who wanted a fancy new sports car and do not know an Abarth from a Pinto. It could have been a AMG, a Aston or a Porsche.... they picked the one that matched their fetish of the moment.
Maybe down the road, after enjoying their car, they delve into the history and realize the wave/headlight flash is simply a nod of the head to another person who has fallen in love with the same mistress.
...regardless of where her "engine" is placed.

The wave thing is car-type related and is no snobbery. Sports cars drivers tend to wave to other sports cars drivers. I see no sense for a 911 owner to wave to a sedan or an SUV, although I see 911 drivers waving to Miata drivers.
