i got it used for $700 or so.

for new one you`ll need to contact manufacturer - Google them up, they have something in US I think as well, not only in Taiwan.

I had my multifunction wheel thickened by Dallas Steering Wheel. Quite pleased with the results. With the options of premium leather, thicker rim, plus the sewn in center strip at the top of the wheel like on the current 911 wheels, it cost just under $400. I also changed the locations of the other seams to match the newer 911 wheels (the new Turbo wheel with the paddles was my "target"). Now my hands rarely touch the seams when driving.

The multifunction wheel does not have bumps at 10 and 2 in its framework. Dallas Steering Wheel does not do that type of mod so my thickened wheel has no bumps. But it feels and looks great and was a bargain compared to alternatives already discussed here.

FYI, the rim thickness circumference is now 4 1/2 inches, up from 3 7/8 inches. It doesn't look that thick in the photos but is slightly thicker than the new Turbo wheel with paddles, except at the Turbo wheel's bumps where that wheel is slightly thicker. Turbo "target" wheel shown last.

Any idea what the cost might be? And do they come in different colors?

Does anybody know the thickness of this wheel? Is it 4 and half inches or 5 inches?
