You've been sniffing too many fumes in the dealership...

I'll reserve judgment until I see it on the road, but these newest renderings look way better than the early "spy shots."
Ordinarily, I'd predict Porsche will sell tons of these, but I'm now convinced the economy's woes are going to change everything...including Porsche's success in America.
Things are not going to get better anytime soon. Not good news for Porsche USA.
The pics MJones posted look very nice.
Maybe Porsche doesn't need to sell tons of Panameras in the U.S., but I'd bet they projected they would.

Why no cheesy red reflector strip on the rear of the 4S? They've made a hash of so many other styling gimmicks it seems wrong to leave one off.

That will be in the Panamera facelift series.

I have to agree. But not only North America - I say the whole world.

Looks like it might have a nasty blind spot in back. I'm not all that excited by it, but if I had to own a four door sedan, and it was between a boring Mercedes Exxx or a Panamera, I would pick the Panamera hands down. At least it has dramatic lines. Anybody know what engine is in it?

The car seems to sit up on it's suspension very high! I am comparing it;'s ride height to BMW and Mercedes.
The Panamera looks much better in these photo's than any spy shots but I will have to see it in person, know the pricing and options to determin if it is something better than offerings from other manufactures. Still the ride height 4x4 look really bothers me.

I wonder how many sales will be stolen from BMW and Mercedes customers who are tired/bored and want something different. Given the economy the total luxury sedan pie may shrink, but Porsche could still win big with novelty in a market that, with the CLS exception, is tradionally staid.

The USA luxury market is relatively unaffected by this economy. The middle and lower classes are. The profile of the people buying 997s and Panameras is no where near those classes.

For me, the looks of the AM Rapide are the best.
