I did... never even had to think about it. Also went out of my way to find a non-S variant. Don't need or want what the $10k buys.... well much of it... some of it I optioned onto my base.

I ordered an 09 turbo with the 6speed. Even if the PDK was available, I don't think I would have gone for it.

I tried the PDk and I'm currently driving a VW GTI with the DSG box. It's really convenient and feels efficient. I really miss the interaction of a manual box though.

So, my macadamia carrera S is coming with the 6-speed - this month!

Just bought an '09 C2S today with a 6-speed. Will be trading the Targa 4S

The new car is black on black. A fun gizmo, the seat ventilation works well.

Also looking forward to the touch screen nav/radio.

Kept the revs to the 4-5K range, but the extra hp and torque is noticeable. Should be a fun ride after a few thousand miles are put on.

Call me old school, but I drive for the interaction with the automobile. The PDK tranny takes a lot of that away.

Picked up my 2009 C2S coupe today - with manual. Basalt over natural gray. Only 23 miles so far but very early impression is very favorable. (I should be driving - not typing!)
