I want to see that shot with a full grown set of adults sitting in the back seats. THEN there is some value to such a picture.

Exactly the reason i got my 996 a few years ago.
Needed some kind of backseats for the kid... now two kids
I think there are a lot of people like me... the back seats are REALLY important

Then they'd be old enough to get their own damn Porsche!

Cool! A couple of weeks ago we had four people in my 997 and went cruising just for the heck of it, two adults in the front and a 16-year old and a 5-year old in the back. Since I'm 6'4 tall, the 5-year old was sort of screwed, but overall it was something we all had fun with, and the backrow kids did not want to get out!

Absolutely! I have two young girls and that was my justification to my wife. Of course I have to take out and put in the harness bar for my DE events but that's a piece of cake.

Nonsense! This thread and picture make the argument precisely. The 11 is not a 4-seater executive express (wait for the Panamera for that) - the 911 is indeed a sports cars that families may use.

Very nice. My 2 grandkids love to sit in the back of my C2S coupe and go for rides. My grandaughter thinks its "cozy".

I had a Boxster S when my son was born. My wife gave me an ultimatum. Get rid of that car and get a car with a backseat for the baby.....and no convertibles either. I said no problem and placed the order for a Carrera S coupe. My now 4 year old son has always preferred the backseat of "Daddy's racecar" rather than Mama's roomy SUV. I obviously have no complaints. Compromise can be a wonderful thing.

I have done this with 4 full sized adults but not for extensive cruising,--bar hopping, etc. It can be done, but you don't want to do it much.

BTW, that's the Porsche Plus child seat I just got in today. It fits very snuggly in the back seat with the seat cushion removed. Way more stable than the Eddie Bauer seat I tried before I ordered this one..

I find the 911 to be alot more usable than I thought it would be. Why tonight I put 2 ---- 5 gallon diesel cans in the trunk and filled em up while I was out for dinner! Between the back seat, trunk, and that tiny section behind the back seats I have plenty of room for 2 adults and the 2 17lb rodents we call dogs!

You can take your kid to college in it!

Here's all six feet of my son, two dufflebags, a microwave, a bunch of other junk, and the uber pack of Charmin!
