Exactly!!! Because when my wife and i go out for dinner with the in-laws, we will always take the 911.

BTW it is a 2+2, not a 4 seater.

I have also been wondering how to tether the carseat. No actual bolt there due to the retractable rollover bars. Do you just run the belt through the seat back? or how do you secure it?

Me, too. I HAD to have a backseat for those occasional times that I need to have both kids with me. Without the backseat, this purchase would never have happened.

Exactly the reason I love the 911. My two kids are going to have great memories of riding in the back of the 911s. When I go to other forums and tell them that the reason a lot of 911 owners chose he 911 was for the back seats they just scoff at me!

As my 9 year old so succinctly put it yesterday, "This car is AWESOME!"

Until recently, I thought that catbacks referred to the fact that you could only get a couple of kitties in the back seats of a Porsche!

in a cabriolet, can you really put a child seat back there? seems like the seat back actually leans forward of vertical...

Yup.

I have the Porsche Booster for the 5 year old and the eddie bauer forward facing seat for the 18-month old.
They work great, but i wouldnt want to take them for long trips like this.

Here is the eddie bauer in my old 996 cab

Am I the only one not seeing an image there? Its just a blank/non-existent attachment.

I'm fully aware its a 2+2 and not a 4 seater... but there are 'seats' in the back. We all know kids can sit in the back.. nothing new or interesting there. What isn't always clear is how well adults can fit in the +2 seats in the back, and I'd like to see how folks are managing that.

I don't know about all that. Key word here is daughter. I also took my daughter to college this year, and while the 911 worked for taking the son, daughter involved a u-haul.

Now, maybe this is justification for a Panamera?

Put me down as having chosen my 911 over other cars because it had a back seat.
