The stock wheels look better than any of the others i have seen since IMO. I do love the sound of that exhaust. NIcely done on that. Digging the new front lip too.

Alex those wheels look great and classy with that super classy green. The exhaust sounds pretty good but I am hoping for even more of a louder exotic sound. It still sounds sort of stock to me..maybe the camera mic? Your GT3 exhaust sounds perfect to me plus I have heard the GT3 exhaust in person on afriends GT3 at Sebring!

What is the middle muffler/resonator for? Have you crack one open yet to see if it is some type of power enhancing cross over H or X pipe configuration? I am very concerned about what this middle muffler/resonator is really for on the car.

cheers mdrums and because of the new motor, lack of revs and overall layout it's never going to be possible to get that same gt3-sound we love However, there's some nice improvement in both flow and sound (the mic isn't great) so that it's more of a mellow PSE-like option for everyone. No resonance etc....

We've got a louder track set up as well but it's

One thing that I'm having trouble with even saying but I'm going to anyways is that I'm really surprised at how well this car now handles _with_ TechArt springs. For anyone that knows me, this might well come as a bit of a shock (no pun intended) because in general we will not install H&R spring kits on any 996, Cayman or 997 based car. It's coil overs or else type of thing... But whatever changes were made to the stock shocks they seem to be very compliant and a great match for the TechArt springs on these .2 cars. It seems like we really do have another less expensive option that works well on .2 997. I'm still scratching my head!

As I understand it, they've only said it won't handle the power of the Turbo in its current form.

Dyno testing on the new 09 PDK cars is somewhat of a chore to say the least If you've got a 6speed you're in much better shape... If not, just make sure you do so on an AWD mustang dyno in Sport Plus, and 4th or 5th gears only, with PSM off. It's very important that the system is mechanically linked and with the front wheels turning or else the tranny will go straight into limp mode (or worse). With that out of the way we ran in AWD mode today to get a baseline vs the SharkWerks Exhaust and got some interesting results to share with you (we got a few ponies - 12HP and 14TQ). Bear in mind we're running on 91 octane in AWD mode here and with a 20% drive train loss according to the fine folks at Stasis.

Sharkster, just to make sure I am reading this correctly....

1- your base line run max hp was 309 and with your center muffler by pass it was 321hp?

2-So with a 20% loss due to the AWD dyno crank HP max is 385.2HP (that is stock from Porsche) and base line was only 370hp, less than 15hp from stock?

I am really confused so please explain since Porsche claims 385hp at the crank. I do not think by removing the center muffler you would lose HP so that is why I am confused with your dyno readings.

I am thinking of what AWE and Fabspeed have posted on there dyno results. I have seen at the wheels on their dyno's 350-364 with mods are the base lines were right around 339hp so +14% loss would be 385 at the crank. I know not all dyno's read the same.
