Everyone - thanks for the nice comments. On the seats, I've primarily been allowing my son, who is 6, to ride on real journeys, and he sits next to me in a car seat. Every now and then, I'll pop both of them into the back seats for short rides around town. But I really do need to get smaller kids seats for the back. Jeff, I *love* the picture of your daughter in the back of the 993!

You'll find plenty of posts on car seats for the little ones. I have the Britax model, which is narrow enough at the base to fit in the back seats. Great picture, great times.

After copious amounts of research and experimentation, I have determined that the Safeguard Go has to be one of the best seats for the back of a 911. It does not depend on a bulky frame for support, so it has a very thin profile and fits very well. It is very quickly and easily adjustable - I can switch between my 3yo and my 6yo in 20 seconds. Best of all, it provides the benefit of a 5 pt harness up to 60 pounds, I think. Check out the link below and let me know if you have any questions. I also have a Britax Boulevard booster seat that suits my 6yo well, but it does not have a 5 pt harness.
