Nice car Clay! You need to remember 3 important things with your new car:
1. Keep the engine under 4200 rpms for the first 2000 miles.
2. Unplug the orange connector in the engine bay if you want that sports exhaust to sound better.
3. Don't run over the cat.

I saw a silver Carrera S while on my vacations in Miami.I thought about you guys.. i just took the picture to see if it was of a rennlister or not.I dont know if it may be appropiate of my part to post the picture or not.It has license plate number and all,it was taken on Sep 18th.

I really want to know if i took a picture of a fellow rennlister or not.

Apparently, all the 997 owners have excellent taste! I spent three days this week getting the car cleaned up. First order of business was to get it on 4 jack stands, and pull the wheels. I wound up washing and waxing even the bottom of the thing! It will be in a concours in mid-October,--with the hardtop on. Thus, I wound up taking it for some conversion work today (converting premium fuel to vapor!)

In the shade, it takes on a whole 'nother look. On the front bra I temporarily stuck on a "Wolfsberg Edition" badge! (For the VW crowd to appreciate, but was missed by most).
