Nice car, love the monochromatic look, doesn't try too hard, way cool.

Other items I like from these pages, the Atlas Grey (for an sophiticated look), the 19" Carrera Sport wheels (really sexy) and the Carrera side decals on a solid color car (might look good on mine? Maybe trying too hard?).

It 's nice to see some other colors (like that red) than the usual. Quite rare in the grand scheme of things!

And your ivory is even better. A very tasteful combination.

Love your GT3 RS, absolute beauty. what a sight to behold. How's the ride around town in Chicago? I lived there during the dynasty years of Da Bulls and I seem to recall streets were pretty well broken up everywhere from all that salting in winter. I dare assume it's mainly for track? I love the looks, want one, but I dont have the time track, so always wondered whether they are impossible to ride around town.

something about sloping backs and no wings.. my s2k, my g35 and etc ive never had wings because i like a "weak" sloping back as i think it makes the car look better in an odd way..

On the track, it's obviously like driving an entirely different car than the targa, but on the street, the RS is definitely a rough ride with a lot more road noise than the targa. We've taken the targa on weekend trips and if the two us went out dinner, we drove the targa, but I don't think we would take the RS (unless we were going to a P-car event).

I haven't driven them back to back this way, but I would say with the RS PASM on normal, the ride is almost as rough as the Targa was with PASM on sport. With RS PASM on sport, fuggedaboutit. My wife drove it home from the dealer once, and PASM was still on sport from the track, and she couldn't believe how rough it was. She said she never wanted to drive it again (It's not like I'm not going to beg her to drive it).

At the moment, I still drive it to work most days. My commute is about 10 miles, 5 of which are on the expressway, so the rough ride doesn't bother me. In the spring however, the roll bar, sport seats and harnesses will go in and the intent is to move towards a track car (while keeping it street legal). Not sure I will want to climb in and out of the sports seats on a daily basis, but I may look for sport seats that are a little more user-friendly. I will have to wait and see how it goes.

If you are going to drive it mostly on the street, I would stick with the GT3. They are great street cars. Almost bought one, but I couldn't fit well with a helmet one (b/c of the sunroof). I found this RS in Chicago for not a lot more money (not entirely apples to apples, but hey, we all do some creative mental accounting) and I knew I would never regret buying an RS.

The RS is probably not worth the money, but we all know buying P-cars is never a financial based decision (just like buying a hybrid - just a different direction)

Just my perspective.
