Got a better theory? Seems like every 997 owner had this happen at least once and yet I've never heard of a service department that acknowledged it's a common issue. On a car that's been on the streets for almost 4 years. I've brought it up with two large Florida dealerships, both of whom responed with: "that's a first".
When I had filled up with the Chevron I noticed for the first time they were saying it had 10% ethanol in it. The Shell went in last, I am wondering if that had more Ethanol and that may be the source our problem.
The dealer did check the alcohol content when I had my car in. It can back 0%.
