I had a Mk.1 Audi TT earlier; easily the most sensuous car I've ever washed and I doubt there will ever be anything like it again.

But the actual moment of washing your own 911.....that takes the pudding!

When it gets warm enough and dry enough here in NY it will be my therapy for the summer. Yes, we are all very lucky to have these fine machines that most can only dream about or give a crap about

Default Washing

Since I live in a condo now, it's just so nice to setup the EZ-UP and a few other "items" and start the cycle of washing and polishing if needed. Shielded from the sun, it's great to see it as foam the snot out of it with a foam canon (pressure washer with attachment) which puts a thick layer of foam over the finish.

Get quite a few comments from fellow condo owners and visitors. Also, helps the resale value when there are open houses as I'm out there all set up washing away.

Dry with my hand held leaf blower, a few passes with the WW towels and I'm ready for the next step.

What's funny is when using a high-end wax which requires "hand application" in which you put the wax IN your hand and rub it on the finish. What's bad is having a friend stop by and see this goo in your hand... "Gee, I knew you really loved this car, but come on now... do you really have to rub one out here?"

Gives a whole new meaning to "rubbing one off"!!

Well it was 60 degrees and sunny here today and my car has been at the dealer since Wednesday so I washed the loaner. Am I sick or what? It least it was a new Cayman....

Very interesting.......................picked up my first C2S yesterday and washed(wiped it down) last night. Rained all day today and just couldn't resist.............put a couple of hundred miles on her and spent another 2 hours washing her in garage this afternoon.................2 days old and 2 washes.

I sure am glad I got the Turbo wheels...........easy to clean and I am saving a ton on tire treatment, if you know what I mean.

Here is a little story about my day with the car...................

As I was giving mine a bit of spring (60 plus todau---finally) spruce up and running the buffer over those fabulous hips, all I could think is WHAT AN AMAZING CAR and its all MINE.

My older son stopped by and added--jeez, DAD, why don't you clean up that POS. Have some pride in what you work hard to attain and take care of it. Wonder where he got that line ???--oh yes---that would me BE ME....

Yes..it is true...they do grow up eventually.

My thoughts exactly. It is like running your hands over a smooth, firm, woman's body (excuse me ladies).

OK Ben - here's the second pic of my car taken this morning......

This global warming stuff is really killing me.

Hell of a point there, Drax.

Gotta give you credit for original thought. I like it.

Looks like GW is frustrating your method right now, though. Shoulda taken that pic.
