Thanks, guys. We've reached a mutual understanding and respect.
I am rapidly warming to the 997 board.

Chris, this car is that car.

So as it seems since this color has been use at Porsche for Edgy01's car, and he did the paint to sample etc Don't you think you should pass on someting his way for getting the ball there first?

Anayway, I'm sure it gets lots of looks on the street as you just don't see this color anymore.

More pics of the rear is needed...

Thanks for sharing

Edgy01's car is Blue Turquoise, this one's Mexico Blue. Close, but not the same.
(Hence "Handicap Blau", referencing Edgy01's previous description of this shade).

For our education, what is the paint code for M. B.? (Check the filler lid).

We made up...all is goodness, and we have reached harmony. Hideous was a tad strong, no doubt. And for the record, my two year old pee'd in my cornflakes, and that is what made me angry....temporarily.

I think we need to start a thread solely focused on Porsches of vibrant color.

BTW, I'm really liking Mexico Blue.

lthatch...way to represent the paint-to-sample blue crowd...as well as the Parliament/Funkadelic crowd. I had no idea George Clinton was still alive and performing.

You need to plan a roadtrip so we can shoot some pics together and really make the black & beige crowd nauseous.

Dave I...great to hear from you! Thanks for the support. Minerva Blue has to be my favorite.
Edgy01-No sticker on the gas filler flap, only gas instructions. My option sticker, on the inside cover of the maintenance book reads L998 AP. The window sticker (PCNA Vehicle Locator Detail) reads variously 98 Non-metallic Paint to Sample and 789 997 Paint to Sample and 2493 Exterior Color to Sample.
I was told by PO (Russ) that the color was "Mexico Blue 73". Now I am curious.

There is no bad color on a 911.
