To me, the 993 body style, narrow or wide-body, will always be the icon. The 997, particularly from the rear and, to a slightly lesser degree, from the front, does nicely echo the 993 heritage.

BTW, Dan, can you give me a primer on safe wheel changes with PCCBs?
That last sticker is on a Norwegian car,--possible they put that on the wheel/tire placard on the edge of the driver's door. I appears they slip the color code in more than one area if they can.
For PCCBs get yourself two bolt hangers (dealership source) and then screw them in before you take off and remount the wheel. I fit them into the tool kit,--look for a hole from left to right to accommodate them inside the formed kit. PM for more details if that isn't apparent right away.
