I figure it could have been bought for around 97k as a new leftover and has probably taken at least a 10% hit since then, so mid 80's, guessing? Am I close?

I agree, mid to upper 80s. Sounds like a great combo though, GT silver is a very nice color!

Sounds like a real nice car...One year ago I bought mine with 3200 miles on the clock for mid 80's.
The sticker on mine was in the 104k range. Good luck, the car is fantastic!

Judging from what Bob paid last year and everything else going on in the economy I would say 70's to low 80's.

I just paid upper 70's for a 2006 Midnight Blue/Sand Beige C4S with ~9500 miles on it. Options were: Heated Front Seats, Power Seat Package, Tiptronic S Transmission, Park Assist System, Bose Surround Sound, Navigation, Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes, and Rear Window Wiper. Balance of Factory Warranty 3/3/10 or 50K Miles + Porsche Certified 3/3/12 or 100K Miles.

I pick up the car on Friday.

I was looking at another CPO '06 White/Seafoam Blue C4S Tip with ~3500 miles, but another buyer snapped up for $79,995 before I could (two weeks ago). Options were: Adaptive Sport Seats, Sport Chrono, 19" Turbo wheels, Guards Red seat belts, and Sport Exhaust.

For an '07 C4S (less than 12 months in-service), well optioned and low miles, I'd say high-80s minimum. Factoring in Rennlist members' propensity to undervalue these cars on the buy-side, it may even be low-90s.

I think you're spot on. Said this before but it's worth repeating because of the constant low balling going on here. Was offered low 70's recently for my -06 with 12K miles by the local dealer without even saying what I would buy instead. Meaning it would end up in the showroom or elsewhere in the low 80's.......minimum. That's for a lightly optioned -06 so why are some talking high 70's for an -07?

I agree that a number in the 70's is low for an '07, but we're talking selling prices, not dealer asking prices. Also, I wouldn't be so sure about the events to follow your prospective trade. Had you taken the next step, you might have found that the dealer would offer you a 2-3% off deal on a new car and taken you to the cleaners on that end, which would have allowed them to sell your trade at whatever price they wanted essentially.

Well Marty, seeing how you'd surmise the dealer to offer only a 2-3% discount on a new car to a customer (Sandwedge may even be a repeat customer), how do you figure the '07 C4S in question was sold for nearly a 12% discount ($97k vs. $110k)?! Granted, a lot of factors go into a hypothetical, but you increased the discount for InTheAir's scenario, and yet slashed the discount in Sandwedge's case.

Now that ain't right.

The biggest difference is obviously a deal with a trade (sandwedge) versus a deal with no mention of a trade (InTheAir). A trade changes everything. With a trade, a dealer hooks a buyer either with a strong trade allowance or a strong discount, but rarely both. When there is no trade, I would say you are then dealing with "par" value on the purchase. Another difference is that I assumed Sandwedge would have been interested in purchasing an '08 rather than an '07. As new cars go, there are very, very few '07 cars left. Comparing apples to apples, I'd say that the difference in values between an '07 and an '08 is at least $7k-$8k.
