Obviously I'd like the entire hood, bumper, and front fenders. Anything else?

If you really want protection get a full Line-X treatment!.
Pros: Doesn't matter what color car you buy or what the finish is like.
Cons: Weighs more for track use. Won't take wax at all!!! You'll never get it to shine!!!
The above aside, get all that he'll give you. I've had thre P-cars and one M-5 done and I'll do it again for any other Porsche I get. It is cheap protection!

I'm definitely going to take as much as I can get for $1k. The full front hood and fenders so there won't be any lines. Head and foglights. So side mirrors and behind the wheel arches should do it? Will that be under a grand?

$1,000 is not much at all for a quality job. Some of the suggestion here are good but will add $. Make sure you look at prior jobs done by the installer...GR

- full bumper
- full hood
- full front fenders
- side mirrors
- rear edge of rear wheel arches
Unfortunately, from my experience, that is not a $1K job. I've been getting quotes from installers at about $2K.
A $600-1000 install is typically:
- full bumper
- 1/3 hood (i.e. with line)
- 1/3 fenders (i.e. with line)
- side mirrors
- full hood
- full front fenders
- side mirrors
- rear edge of rear wheel arches
