Default Autocross in San Diego

Thought some might enjoy seeing a video.
We are lucky to have the Qualcom parking lot for a venue which allows for long (1+ mi) fast (100 mph not uncommon) on an undulating parking field that provides on & off camber turns.

It's a 2 hr drive to get there for me for a sort period of driving...The thrill is well worth it!!
If you have not Autocrossed you should give it a try. If you are in So Cal come on down.

Isn't there a concern that dealers or insurance companies could use posted videos and pics from these events to deny warranty or insurance coverage? Especially since autocross is a timed event, no?

Thanks for the video, I would love to get on a wide open parking lot like this one.

the chance is there but the odds of damage to your car is minimal. I know for a fact - zero- doubt that the Regional Porsche rep WILL look at results of events if they have a warranty request for a car that might have been in a non DOT setting. That means all GT3s.

Be careful I have heard speed can be addictive.

Commonly over 100 mph? I think not. That would only be the case in the annual DE run in the Qualcomm lot.

Thanks for posting the video.

If you live somewhere in So. CA these three regions have most of the action. I believe dates are up for most of 2008 at this point.
