Default Calling all C2S owners...

Was playing around with the Sport Crono the other day while crusing on the interstate in my 07 C2. Clocked several 75-100 mph sprints. Best time was 8.45 SEC.

Would be interested in what the C2S does at that same interval. I was in 6th gear on a flat straight away.

Post some times if any of you get the chance.

Thanks.

You shouldn't be driving that fast on the street.

Drop her in 5th and do it again...

Of course - only in a stretch of road where if you had an accident no one would be affected.

As for the ticket if you get caught - that's between you and your lawyers...

I used 6th just to keep the comparision easy...just floor it and go. I am really just interested in the difference in the 3.6L & 3.8L at the faster speeds. Besides there are to many variables in comparing standing starts.

That's fast Cole. Did you do it in 6th gear on flat ground?

Agree with jnx. In Virginia Beach, VA, if you get nailed on that speed, you will DEFINITELY spend at least a weekend in jail. I speak from experience. I got 87 in a 55 (could have been much worse) from a female state trooper in a Dodge Charger and was charged reckless driving 10 days in jail with all suspended based on two years good behaovior with a good attorney. We are appealing to try to get the suspened jail time removed. I saw 2 people in court 100+ who got 30 days in jail with all but 10 days suspended. They get to serve on weekends. It is not worth it guys and ladies.

There is no way you can be at 4.30 and he is at 8.45. Sorry to burst your bubble, but the S car is not that much faster.

Gee guys,--75 to 100 will take you a few seconds and you can be back into legal territory in a moment. That's not fast. 180 is fast.

It's amazing that you can't even post here about breaking the speed limit without someone bashing you. I am not a proponent of dangerous driving but doing 100 on an empty highway that is flat and straight doesn't seem to be excessive at all.

As for the times, that does seem to be too large a difference. Something is wrong. Maybe Jim isn't getting the right reading?

JNX I was kidding....don't even have the chrono package, but do have the "S", and like Frino, I like to joke.....frankly, never even timed any aspect of the car as of yet

these cars are simply awesome at all levels I love mine going 90 on the freeway in a straight line, and also love it going 30 on the side roads by my house using all that 3rd gear torque...we're a lucky bunch o'
