Default Tires: Toyo Proxes T1R

Has anyone used this tire? If so, do you have any strong feelings about it either way?

Thanks!

There was a post on this over at 6speed, I used this tire on my 04 M3 and found it to be a very good tire for the money. I don't think however that the tire is availabe in 997S sizes other than the front. They do offer a 315/25/19 size but at 25.2" tall it is probably way to short. Did you consider the Nitto Invo?? This is another good tire in 997S sizes for the money.

I got PS2 315/25/19's on my C4S. Actually closer in diameter to the fronts (235/35) than the 305's. 25.5" & 25.2" front/rear. 305's are 26.3".

Stock rear tire diameter is 26", front 25.5". Stay as close as possible to those measurements or the car's balance, center of gravity, and alignment settings will be affected. Of course, gearing will change as well if there's a change to the drive wheels.
