I have searched around but didn't find a good answer -- has anybody installed a GT3 sway bars on their 997S? I know it should work, but what drop links should I use (I heard good things about the TRG drop links)?
I will also install the Cup arms (front) and Bilstein Damptronics, so I'm a bit concerned about how it will all work together. Any advice specifically for the 997S?
Thanks!

the GT3 bar will work with your 997S. the Tarrett and TRG drop links are good. i make some that are a lot less expensive; see here: https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale-ads-member-to-member-fs-wtb-free/370324-fs-986-996-adjustable-sway-bar-drop-links.html
there should be lots of feedback on these from 996 and boxster guys; a lot of rennlisters have them now.

Thanks guys, I searched the race and competition section, just couldn't find somebody who has done the 997S, cup arms, GT3 swaybars and new drop links combination. The cup arms and the GT sway bars will fit, I just don't know which drop link to use for the 997S.
Porsche Motorsport said the GT3 sway bars should fit on the old OEM drop links of an 997S, but somehow that doesn't seem right. Very confusing...

Are you doing this because you're tracking the car, or because you'd like to firm it up? I'm just curious how street-able this would be. If it just flattens the car without noticeably affecting wheel travel and ride comfort it sounds like a very trick proposition.

It's for the track -- but I know that my planned mods work pretty well for the street as well. The Bilstein's are very civilized and the sway bars are adjustable, so ride comfort shouldn't be affected much. The front cup arms simply allow a bit more camber for the track.

you can't use the stock drop links; they're too long. also, since the bar is adjustable, it helps to have adjustable links so you can keep the drop link tangent to the sway bar.

Don't get sucked into the modification wormhole
there is no end...
I'll swap the suspension next week, can't wait -- with the sway bars and the cup arms the change should be noticeable.
