Any recommendations for great Porsche Dealer service Depts. Anyone use
Freeport, Roslyn, Massapequa, or Huntington regularly?Have a new car but want to get started on a good foot with any service or upgrades.

Hi, I use Porsche of Roslyn (Service writer Lana and Tech/Service Mananger is Peter Troffa). So far they've been great to deal with. Porsche of Huntington has one of the top rated Porsche Mechanics in the country working there and they are heavily into Porsche prep for tracking/racing. I've never used Porsche of Huntington though, so I can't tell you how they were from a personal standpoint.

Hope this helps,

-Mike

Thanks Mike, I did use Huntington to install a short shifter and they were super nice; didn't know if it was a fluke

Huntington has Thom M. Just won some big Master Tech award.
I have heard that they can be real bastards if you didn't buy your car from them though.

Has anyone used Town Motors Porsche in Englewood, NJ? What are your thoughts?

I use Huntington and so far I'm pleased. They get me in pretty quickly (one time the same day I called) and always offer me a loaner car - even though I did not buy the car there.

They were a bit of a pain in the *** about a CEL when I first put on my exhaust because it was aftermarket.

The service department at Huntington is excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Mike Ronan is the service manager and is very easy to deal with.

I've had two very bad experiences at Huntington, but not recently. The service manager was Bill D. at the time. I bought the car at Huntington incidentally. Never a problem with Roslyn and Lana.

I take my 2005 997 to Roslyn and very happy with the service. They treat me like a customer even though I didn't buy the car there.

Not my experience with them. My 997 (which I did not buy from them) got towed to Huntington when I got a flat on the LIE and Mike was really super in getting a replacement tire and getting me back on the road after only a few days--not a small feat since the Pirelli's were in short supply at the time. Also, he made me a very fair deal on a 996 hardtop that he had available in my color.
