If you go with full leather, I think Beige, Natural Brown would be nice, if not, go with black.

My vote would be Natural Brown. It perfectly complements the Ruby IMO and is richer looking than the Sand Beige. I would opt. for the contrasting Deviating Carpets ($650) in black to add some interesting contrast to the brown.

Oh, forgot to recommend black gauges (no cost) that will nicely round out the interior of NB in post above.

I'm definitely considering the deviating carpets (black) with the NB. I wish the configurator would allow you to play around with deviating carpets, because now I'm just trying to search for pictures of NB and DC....

(this ~is~ a fun process though....)

It is fun, but there are so many options that it can drive you crazy!

Are you considering anything other than the carpets in the deviating black, like the steering wheel, dash, some of the door panels?

That's the problem with some of these options--one you do one, you might as well do the other. This happened when I decided to switch from Sand Beige stock interior to full leather to full NB leather to full NB leather with leather roofliner, console, etc.

Here is a picture of greencherry's NB with deviating carpets. I'm not sure of the exact options

Here it is mocked with a black wheel

I wouldn't do just the steering wheel. I was talking about steering wheel, dash and maybe some other pieces, similar to what you get on the configurator if you pick one of the two-tone color schemes.

Hey, In Th Air, I might consider outfitting just the rear console in Sycamore. I did it on the confiurator and it looks classy. It provides another item of interest without overdoing it. Costs the same as leather console. I am thinking of doing this Ruby/NB combo on my next order.

Natural Brown would look great with Ruby Red! Here is a link to a Cab that is Carmona Red (darker than Ruby) with Natural Brown.

Dave -

I've done the same and agree with you that the Sycamore looks nice and really complements the ext/int colors.

However, I had wood grain in my 993 and I'm thinking I want to go the non-wood route on this car.

Thanks, Tim, for the link.

I know I am partial, but....GET THE BASALT BLACK AND SAND BEIGE!! My fear on the ruby red, and I almost got that same color, is that you're tire of it after a year. Black, however, never tires.

Is Basalt Black truly easier than regular Black to keep clean and nice looking? I am seriously considering switching to Basalt on my order, but I really love the way regular Black looks when it's clean. Then I keep thinking about five minutes later....

Does Basalt hide finger the finger smudges on the door handle area?

I don't think I would say that. I had a Metallic Black 993 and I tired of the cleaning. For a daily driver, in a state that has rain and snow, black is just too hard to keep up (dirt, swirls, etc.).

As they say, "Black isn't a color, it's a hobby."

Thanks for the comments, however.

Black if you want a sporty feel. Natural Brown or Cocoa if you prefer a more luxurious look. I suspect one of the browns with some Makassar trim would look gorgeous with Ruby Red.
