So, really, what is next? What is the dream car now?

No sooner does the new 911 (or SUV or DD sedan or whatever) hit the driveway and I'm thinking about the next new car. It's who I am. I'm a car guy. It's what I do (not literally). I can't help it. Nor, does it sound like, can many of you on this forum.
I've got a brand new 2007 Cab4S with 900 miles bundled up in my garage for the winter, and I'm lusting after pictures of GT3RS'. Or an R8. Or a Mercedes CDI Blutech. Or anything with wheels! I'm an addict!
I've had five Porsches, each better than the other. I guess when I reach the zenith of the brand, I'll be dreaming of something else. But since they keep raising the bar, like with the new GT2, I have a feeling that day will never come.
Drive the living crap out of your car before dreaming of another one. I think you'll be convinced it's the only brand to dream about.

My heart was broken at the Audi dealer this weekend. The salesman told me the R8, which might have become the 'other woman' and forestalled my upcoming marriage to a 997, had a 3-year waitlist. The only one they had seen so far had gotten offers for $30k over sticker.

I was thinking the other day about what car i would get if i won the lottery, and i came to the conclusion that it would be my C2S cab. I would not want all the attention that goes with a ferrari or Lambo, plus its a car you can drive every day and feel comfortable.
like another poster i do have a Chevy Avalanche which is great for trips to loews and the beach w/ the dogs. i guess i may upgrade that if i won the lottery.

I've wanted a 911 since I was a kid, so it's a dream come true.
But, I've also always dreamed of Ferrari and Lamborghini.
If I have the money to comfortably buy a new F430 (or the next gen, or the gen after that ) then that would be the next step. It would be in coupe form and it would be Ferrari red. That is the ONLY car I would ever drive in red. ~$220K and worth every penny if you can comfortably afford it, IMO.
The next step after that would be a Lamborghini...Murcielago (not the baby Lambo...even though I love it). Again, I'd have to be able to comfortably write a check for it.
Considering the attention you get with these cars...I'd still have a 911 as a often-driven sports car...with the Ferrari or Lambo reserved for night driving, or other less-noticable times/places.

This is probably a repost of a link, but I am too lazy to search. Here is a good way to figure out what your next dream car might be: http://www.dfwdriveyourdream.com/
