Default Must be a good buying day

I too just picked up a new 2007 997S. Black/Sand from Chris at North Olmsted in Ohio.

I'd been shopping for a couple of months, back and forth between cars, options, colors, new and used, etc. Chris helped me try to get ahold of a used car and certify it, but we couldn't get the numbers to work so he gave me a sympathy deal on one of his left over '07 cars. Seriously, he was great all along and the buying experience was one of the best of my long car buying history.

Looks exactly like the one Marty B posted in the 15 month thread the other day, except mine is plain old everyday black (not basalt), and has sport-chrono wart on the dash. 5 hour round trip to the dealer (they bought my car in this deal too) plus transaction time and sucky driving weather - those are my excuses for being lame with the camera.

Sounds nice. I thought I'd check their site for a 2007. I was surprised to see taht of 12 911's in iventory, 10 have sand beige interior (not that there is anything wrong with that), so I'm not surprised you have a sand interior as well. Enjoy, I'm sure it looks great!

What kind of deal did Chris give you on the 2007?

Well, we didn't even break 30F today (started at 21F) so the last thing I wanted to do was a photo session. Should get a chance tomorrow or Sunday.
But don't let the delay build up a bunch of anticipation and suspense. Its just a simple little black 997S with sand interior!

Here are a few quick shots this morning - as you can see both Porsche's are dirty but we'll get them washed as soon as we can turn on the outside water again --- maybe in March. The CaymanS is midnight blue and the 911 is black.

My visit to Cleveland, and Chris & Co, about this same time last year, ended in a similar pleasant result. Probably the nicest, 300+mi drive home I've ever had! Glad N. Olmstead is still holding up their end. Good luck to you.

Good eye! She is only outside when we are or for those brief doggy breaks. Else we'd find her pretty stiff this time of year. In the warmer months she likes to hang out in the garage with the door up a bit, people-watching. So that's her garage bed and its always in the garage.

She sheds way too much (lab), so she doesn't get to ride in the p-cars. Off to the right and even less visible than her bed is an X3 dog carrier.

sweet ride, p-cardriver. I'd have to say as well that buying my p-car at the local p-dealer was the best car-buying experience i've had to date-- after years of bimmers.

maverick, what's that funny-looking thing on your windshield with that cording hanging out? certainly, a tt deserves a stealth setup, no?
