Just got back from my first "tubi" drive and its fantastic. Worth every penny. What a sound. I started it half a dozen times just to hear that distinct growly rumble. Unbelievable. Jay Putnam Engineering in Delray was good enough to pick my car up and bring it back to my house cause I could not get to him today and I was not gonna wait another day! Jay put my tips on just right and man do they look sweet..pics tommorrow. When the sun goes down so is my top and Im headed out.

At low rpm its just the sweetest sound. Hit the gas and WOW what a growl jumps out at you. You are gonna love it.

Glad you like it, it is as light as any Ive installed, and sounds as good, without skull numbing resonance.

I went back and forth between 3 tips...my stainless from porsche that I paid extra for,fab speed which I liked cause of the beveled edge or tubi tips which I liked cause they are bigger and supposedly enhances the tubi sound. I bent over and applied a generous amount of K-Y lubricant and ended up with the tubi tips. Paid 675.00 but after riding around last night and looking at them closely Im glad I did. When I get home from making enough money to pay for the damn things Ill take some pics and post. What Im gonna do with my stainless porsche tips I dont know. The fabspeed tips stuck out to far and I heard some **** about poor welding so that was the end of them.

Poor welding like this? Got the replacement last week which is straighter but I still can't get them to mount as straight and even as the stock tips.

I just got mine in today.. fedex guy dropped it off at noon. Cant wait to have them installed. Now if only I can find a good reputable installer that wont charge and arm and a leg to have these cans installed. Does it really take 3 hours from a shop that knows what they are doing?

I think i'm just gonna stick with the stock tips.. I kinda like the way they look.

thanks for the pics...

Installation should take one hour, easy job. Do one side at a time removing the rear wheel ,the unbolt the muffler and out it comes in the direction of the removed wheel.
