Default TUBI has to be heard in person!!

A big Thanks to Alex at Sharkwerks for firing up the car to show me the TUBI sound.

I got to hear a 997S with TUBI mufflers yesterday.
NOW THAT is what the car should sound like !
This was so much better than my 996 PSE sound (and i though that was good!)

It is LOUD though... more than i expected.

Sound clips dont convey how great these exhausts really are.

So now to check out PSE for the 997S (just doing my homework), but im 99% sold on the TUBI.

Then to convince the wife and Neighbours too :-)

Do you know if that car had any other exhaust mods except the mufflers? Headers, cats? Just asking since I've got Tubis and never thought they were that loud. Maybe I'm just conditioned to the racket....

I'm pretty happy with the PSE and the X51 headers.

I agree. I think Tubi sounds great. My neighbor has Tubi on his 997 so I hear it a lot. I could not get past the price tag, however. I'm just as happy with my Agency exhaust for $800.

Love my PSE in the morning... the rasp, pop, crackle is music to my ears!

No doubt, Tubi exhausts always sound great. As it is though the PSE is suprisingly loud -I was told it actually set a car alarm off yesterday just cruising in 2nd - there is no way I'd want to go louder.

I have had the Tubi for well over a year. I think it is just right. I have never been the type of person looking for attention. You can drive it quitely or loud. Where it is fun in in the mountains (I live in Florida) when the sound bounces off the rock walls and is real loud. No one has ever complained as to the noise and I have had many compliments.

Just made this clip today. Have a listen. It's probably not the loudest exhaust out there. In fact, at idle, it's pretty quiet. But touch it even a bit, it barks back. I haven't heard other aftermarket exhausts in person other than the PSE. All I can say is I love my Tubi. Drive-throughs, tool booths and garages are a lot of fun!

You thought Tubi mufflers were loud? WOW I have heard 3 997S with Tubi and 1 guy runs at DE with me and I thought they sounded quiet...just a touch louder than stock but very stock like at idle.

Hey DrKarlB, nice to meet you and you are right- nothing sounds like Tubi that's for sure! It's only loud on the outside and when you step on it. Otherwise just putting around in town there's no drone/resonance or really any extra volume but it's there when you want it so to speak I loved it on the 996...
