Default No VA, MD, DC Area StoneGuard Invisible Bra Install & Recs

Hello all. Am thinking about getting my rear stone guards (OEM) replaced and also installing front end clear/invisible guards/bra too to protect against those rock and pain chips as well. Wanted to know what folks's experience has been who have done these mods and also their recommendations for Products and costs. Also anyone who has a recommended installer in the DC Metro area I'd be welcome to use as a reference.

Any pics of previous installs on their vehicles are also welcome too!
Thanks
Rob

Oh yeah I have an '05 Artic Silver 997 coupe...would this cause any problems with wax or color fade in the future?

Contact Skip at Protective Films Technology (skip@pftfilms.com). He uses 3M products exclusively. Skip did my C2S last year. He comes to you and the job takes about 2-3 hours. 5 year warranty on the product and install.

Getting my Aerokit front end close to perfect took him several visits but other than that I've been very satisfied. You'll see on the web site that Skip drives an 06 C2S with an Aerokit as well (he's not cheap!).

No pics but feel free to PM me if you want additional info.

You want the best?

Contact Matt at Frontguard - uses only 3m product - has done my three Porsches and two Audis (just finished my bosses Ferarri and GT3 RS).

Great prices - check out his web site at --> www.frontguard.com ...

One of our Rennlist Gt2 owners introduced him to me - Great Guy and knows what he is doing - will come right to your house if you wish!!!

Ditto on Skip at Protective Films Technology. He was recommended by Rockville Porsche and did a great job on my 2006 arctic silver C2 cabriolet. As said previously, he'll come to you and he seems to be a real perfectionist in doing the job right. He's located in Northern Virginia and does the full DC metro area, Maryland, etc.

A year after he did my car, my lower signal light took a bad hit that actually scratched the film. Skip came to my home and replaced it. The old film came off, the lens beneath it was still pristine and the new film put back on in all of about five minutes. The service was outstanding.

Does the film accentuate the lines between the paint and the film? Especially in a lighter car. I'd be interested in seeing a close up pic of your Artic Silver C2 Kevin to make a comparision study before pullin the trigger. But thanks for the advice guys.!

Yes it does. I took of the hood & fender film off two weeks after having it installed. I hated the look and any type of dust or pollen on the car accentuated the line. Also, you NEVER will be able to wax that part of the car again. I think it looks like crap on the hood and fenders....the line will always be there. Wasted money..
